People at Indicast

The story began with a skype call from Aditya Mhatre to Abhishek Kumar and a week later Indicast released its 1st episode of  The Indicast Show.  The team has grown to include interesting people contirbuting to the new podcast shows that were added over time.

Aditya Mhatre:

He is a mac enthusiast with Microsoft at heart (he cannot tolerate Microsoft bashing), a black belt in karate, a sachin Tendulkar fan, the least musical person you might have ever come across and an everday mumbai local train commuter.

At Indicast, Aditya plays the geek. He is responsible for all technology development including web, mobile, and telephony. He is also the co-host of The Indicast Show and Tech Ka Masala.

Abhishek Kumar:

He is a gully cricketer since age four, a Marlon brando fan, a table tennis maniac (can play that for hours)… sleeper, reader, scribbler in that order.  When he is not “working”, one can find him at any of the coffee shops in Mumbai pretending to be engrossed in reading! Crossword has and still remains his favourite place to hang out.

At Indicast, Abhishek is responsible for ensuring that all hosts stick to the release schedule and that the content quality is maintained. We like to call him the “Content Chef”. Abhishek is also the co-hosts of The Indicast Show and Bizination.

Ritika Sawhney:

Among all her friends, Ritika,  will be the first one to put her hand up for a trek or a hike on a weekend. She is a bundle of energy and there are times when she takes the Jonnie Walker tag line of ‘Keep Walking’ too seriously.

Meeta Kabra:

Fondly known as meetu is a Chartered Accountant and an MBA in finance and entrepreneurship but she’d rather not keep books or manage a business instead uses her analytical skills to review movies. Doing this she gets to exploit both her love for movies and writing.

Saket Vaidya

Saket is a typical linux geek and loves to hate microsoft. He comes across a bit reticent but has peculiar quality of writing blog posts that have set the Indian blogosphere on fire. He is the newest member of the Indicast team.
