Yeh Faasley

Written by

Yeh Faasley is a perfect thriller. It’s a shame that the first hour and the court room scenes are very mediocre. Which is why the twists and turns post-interval come both as a pleasant surprise and make for one of the best climaxes meeta has seen in a long, long time.

Tanu weds Manu

Written by

The much awaited, Tanu Weds Manu released is the subject of review in this episode. Indian Shaadi movies tend to start of well but would it manage to hold its ground through out? Kangana has has shed her "high" image through tanu (she passes out in her opening scene but who cares for details). Meetu gives us her opinion about whether to watch or skip this movie.

Yamla Pagla Deewana Movie Review

Written by

What you see (in the promos) is what you get. Over-the-top, no-head-nor-tail, senselessness served in the name of unpretentious cinema. Sure, many from the crowd around me were laughing, hooting, and whistling their hearts out. At what though, is beyond me. No thanks, I'm very comfortable with my sense of humor.

Mirch Movie Review

Written by

Sexual tension, neglect of a woman's urge, double standards, an artist's struggle in the big, bad world - all in one breath but without getting breathless. Thanks to some amazing wit inbuilt into the stories from folklore. But will Meetu recommend this movie?

Allah Ke Banday and Break Ke Baad Movie Review

Written by

In this episode of Wogma, Meeta talks about the Allah Ke Banday and Break Ke Baad. The two movies are quiet a contrast. Allah Ke Banday a violent, gang related movie compared to the romantic comedy on offer in Break Ke Baad

Guzaarish Movie Review

Written by

Guzaarish is an art museum. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the perfectly chiseled curator and Hrithik Roshan an almost statue. And this once, it’s not his acting I’m complaining about, the script demands him to stay put. You are watching them etched in many exotic, exquisite paintings frame after frame. So, what if the very basis of the story is pointless and there are gaping holes which are difficult to digest.

This episode of Wogma review four movies - Aakrosh, Do Dooni Char, Knock Out and Crook. Aakrosh is about a flaw in our society, but completely hidden in the midst of the action. All negatives are completely overshadowed by the brilliant portrayal of the futile and toothless system that prevails in some parts of the country.Do Dooni char represents a pleasing movie about stories from the lives of the middle class, a generation gap where the children want to move up to the next level in socio-economic ladder.

Robot, and Anjaana Anjaani Movie Review

Written by

Ayodhya verdict has made us wait 2 long weeks for a movie release and Robot, Anjaana Anjaani (AA) and Kichdi is what we get. Meetu is disappointed with all movie. Robot - for not having enough Rajni in it, AA for ruining a perfectly good start but is all praises for Priyanka and Kichdi was not having a concept at all. Interestingly, Meetu has been getting many interesting emails from Wogma reader and she share one such concerned feedback.

Dabang Movie Review

Written by

Dabangg, and more so, Salman Khan, won't even allow a reviewer her right to roll her eyes. How can she be the snoot who ignores a packed house is dancing and clapping its way to the background score of an action sequence? She laughs at the silliness on screen and off. She walks out of the theater feeling happy for the people who had come to enjoy and made sure they had a good time. But enjoy, for her own self, did she? Nope. Not a chance.
