13B movie review

The concept of a TV haunting you is truly spooky but it is introduced in such a laidback fashion that you lose interest within the first twenty minutes. And later when the chills do begin it is too little too late.

Dhoondte Reh Jaoge Movie Review

Written by
A wise man (Leon Trotsky?) once said, "Everything is relative". So if you compare Dhoondte Reh Jaoge to the regular "three men get together to earn some easy money" plot, you'll feel like a rag collector in the backyard of a 5-star hotel. Because it doesn't once loose focus.A plot with huge potential to be howlarious quits after a few clever quips.

Siddharth Movie Review

Written by

It’s dark and it’s abstract and it’ll make you think. What is it that will liberate you from the trappings of life? An outstanding performance by Rajat Kapoor and some thoughtful yet simple background music keep you company in this extremely slow-paced film.

Rating : Watch for sure - preferably in theatre

Billu barber movie review

Written by

The stargiri is truly a huge put-off. So bad that even though the dialogues have a consistent, fresh bounce and Billu starts of as an interesting character, it falls flat as the film progresses. Human emotions can keep you glued as long as there's some movement in them. Just Irrfan's brilliant facial muscle movement does not suffice. Simple, at-times sweet but predictable too.

Rating : Watch on DVD

Luck by chance movie review

Written by

Luck by chance has romance, clever lines amongst the preachy ones, clichéd characters and the usual things that ensue. There's equal scope to let go and enjoy or to observe and ponder.

Rating : Really keen? Watch on screen, else wait for DVD release.

Chandni Chowk To China Movie Review

A crazy plotline of the 80s where Seeta meets Geeta or not. An unbelievable journey of a simpleton from shame to fame - where coincidences rule! An unsuccessful attempt at a comedy, but I guess a successful one at slapstick.

Ghajini Movie Review

Written by

That I didn’t realize how my 3+ hours passed by is testimony to the fact that you can’t take the love for masala out of this Indian. Even though I usually don’t like this combination of spices I found myself enjoying most of Ghajini. The thriller succeeded in getting me anxious but the seasoning left a bad after-taste.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi Movie Review

Written by

rab ne bana di jodi takes on the nitty-gritty of the romance in an arranged marriage. Enough reason for Aditya Chopra to bring in the mush and gush. Yet, “What a woman wants?” and “What her man is capable of giving” is explored with some insight. We are growing up, but only ‘haule haule

Dostana Movie Review

With friends like these who needs enemies? A few laughs set aside, this one has a shallow attitude towards friendship, parenting, love and of course gay people.

Dasvidaniya Movie Review

Quality of life certainly wins over quantity. Dasvidaniya has enough number of interesting characters that is played by a very capable crew. Characters germinate and grow in enough details for us to see the shades.

Rating : Watch for sure - preferably in theatre (Rating scale)
